Disclosures
The disclosures referenced by figures, charts and statements across this website.
General disclaimer
↩ BACKThe materials on this website are for illustration and discussion purposes only and do not constitute an offering. An offering may be made only by delivery of a confidential offering memorandum to appropriate investors. PAST PERFORMANCE IS NO GUARANTEE OF FUTURE RESULTS.
Simulated and illustrative visuals
↩ BACKAll charts and animations on this website labelled “SIMULATED · ILLUSTRATIVE” are generated from mathematical models using randomly generated (seeded) data. They illustrate concepts only. They do not represent actual, hypothetical or back-tested performance of any Shipra strategy, account or fund, and should not be relied on for any investment decision.
International and emerging-market risk
↩ BACKThe QHAM strategy invests in the United States, Canada, India, China and Japan. Foreign investments are exposed to currency fluctuations, differing accounting and disclosure standards, political and economic instability, and changes in regulation, taxation or capital controls.
India and China are emerging markets and may involve greater volatility, lower liquidity, restrictions on foreign investment and access, and less developed legal and settlement systems. Market holidays, trading hours and suspensions may prevent trades at intended times or prices.
Model and hedging risk
↩ BACKQuantitative and machine-learning models rely on historical relationships that may not persist, may contain errors, and may perform poorly in conditions not reflected in their data. Hedging strategies involve costs, may be imperfect and reduce potential gains as well as losses. Investors may lose some or all of their capital.
